The Wilds is one of the world’s largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers. Set across nearly 10,000 acres in southeast Ohio, The Wilds provides a unique opportunity to see rare and endangered animals from around the world living in expansive, open-range habitats.
Visitors can explore The Wilds on a guided Safari Transport or Open-Air Safari, offering up-close views of wildlife while learning about conservation efforts. Guests can also visit the Mid-Sized Carnivore Conservation Center, birding and butterfly areas and other unique attractions.
Additional experiences and amenities include a gift shop, café, summer camps, educational programs, group tours, private lodge accommodations, Nomad Ridge and the private Wildside Tour.

Admission varies depending on the tour or experience. For example, the 2026 Open-Air Safari is $35–$49 per person, depending on the day and time. Children 3 and under are free on daytime tours with a paid adult.
Is parking available at The Wilds?
Yes. Parking is available in the lower parking lot and costs $9 per vehicle. Guests are shuttled from the parking area to the check-in building unless otherwise directed.
Is The Wilds accessible for guests with disabilities?

Are pets allowed at The Wilds?
