Glide toward family-friendly adventure at the seasonal Cambridge Ice Rink, a 40 x 80 foot ice skating rink located in downtown Cambridge. While the surface is synthetic, the joy you’ll feel while gliding under the string lights is very real. Skating, concessions and themed events keep visitors re-enacting their favorite Olympic ice skating moments–or perhaps just trying to stay upright–now through February 28, 2023. Thursdays-Sundays 5-9 p.m., $8 per hour to skate. Bring your own skates or rent them for $2 per pair.

Locally-owned KIK Extreme Desserts serves up desserts beyond your wildest winter dreams: extreme milkshakes, rolled ice cream, cotton candy ice cream burritos and so much more.
