Come join us on a fun filled night all about pumpkins! Did you know that 1.5 billion pounds of pumpkins are produced each year in the United Sates and Ohio is one of the top 5 pumpkin growing states. Also, pumpkins are considered fruits and there are 45 different varieties of pumpkin. We will be learning how pumpkins grow, the different types of pumpkins, and what uses each. In addition, we will be participating in various pumpkin themed activities, crafts, and recipes including making pumpkin cookie dip! Hosted by Susan J. McDonald of McDonald’s Greenhouse!
