For 18 years, Dickens Victorian Village in charming downtown Cambridge, Ohio has dazzled visitors with trolley rides, Victorian teas and immersive holiday scenes. From now until Jan.1 , join us for what’s been called “The Most Unique Holiday Experience in the Midwest!”
One of our favorite parts of the Dickens Victorian Village experience is our annual Guernsey County Courthouse Light Show. Our stately 1881-built Guernsey County Courthouse receives quite the “glow-up” each winter, as more than 66,000 holiday lights are carefully strung and coordinated into a continuously presented show of perfectly synchronized pulsating lights from 5:30 – 9:00pm nightly and until 11pm on weekends and holidays.
With a kid’s set of holiday favorites and your favorite contemporary holiday music recorded by local saxophonist Gordon Hough, this show will bring out the kid in all of us as we enjoy this special season together.
While the courthouse may be the most dazzling of our light displays, it’s certainly not the only one. All of downtown is alight in the glow of festive lights, illuminating the almost 100 Dickens characters and the sights, sounds and tastes of a Victorian holiday. Treat yourself to a hot chocolate or home cooked meal after you spend a day popping in shops, strolling Wheeling Avenue and enjoying the best holiday traditions of yesterday and today.
