What’s the best murder mystery in Ohio? Elementary, dear Watson!

The Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery Weekend (November 7-8, 2025) promises an unforgettable experience. This year’s all-new case, “The Problem of the Two-Faced Spector,” will put your detective skills to the test. Help Holmes and Watson unravel a sinister plot within the Cambridge Police Department.
For more than a decade Ann Chlovechok has penned eight unique Sherlock Holmes murder mysteries for Cambridge, Ohio. The murder mystery weekends have been wildly popular from the beginning and this year will be no different. Super sleuths will be everywhere.
Participants are encouraged to get into the spirit by donning Victorian attire and wandering Cambridge’s picturesque streets in search of clues to solve the mystery and win the grand prize. The Dickens Victorian Village scenes in Downtown Cambridge will set the tone for adventure.

Bring a friend, a magnifying glass and a heightened sense of deduction to the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center for Act I, where guests will enjoy the opportunity to meet and mingle with the playwright, snack on light bites and begin formulating theories.
Saturday morning brings more drama with Act II, followed by a whimsical afternoon chasing clues throughout downtown Cambridge before the mystery is solved after Act III on Saturday evening.
