
Chrome gleams, engines rumble and memories come roaring back when downtown Cambridge hosts the annual Cambridge Main Street Classic Cruise-In & Car Show on Saturday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Set along historic Wheeling Avenue—part of the legendary Historic National Road, America’s first federally funded highway—this beloved event transforms downtown into a rolling museum of automotive history.
More than 200 stunning vehicles will line the streets showcasing everything from pre-1940 antiques and vintage street rods to Corvettes, Mustangs, motorcycles, muscle cars and lifted Jeeps. Whether you’re a serious gearhead or simply appreciate timeless craftsmanship, you’ll find plenty to admire as proud owners share the stories behind their prized rides.
But the excitement extends far beyond the vehicles.
