Southeast Ohio is bursting with excitement this July 4th! From dazzling fireworks to delightful festivals and mouth-watering food, the fun extends far beyond a single day of celebration. In fact, the festivities kick off in late June and continue to light up our community through mid-July! This is the perfect opportunity for families to come together and celebrate our nation’s birthday. So, grab your picnic blankets and make  unforgettable memories together

THE PREAMBLE
The Byesville Fireman’s Festival on June 27 will feature a 5k run/walk, car show, live entertainment, great food, bounce houses, mini golf, smash car, games, raffles, and other giveaways. Be sure to stay for the Byesville Blast at Dark Fireworks Show at Byesville Park on June 27th at 10 p.m.!

THE MAIN EVENT
The nation’s 250th birthday celebration continues with the Cambridge City Band’s free concert on July 4th at Cambridge City Park. Established in 1841, the band is Ohio’s oldest continuously performing community band. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available on site. There will be fun for the kids throughout the day. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to watch the annual Cambridge Boom-A-Rama fireworks display at dusk.

Want to have a night camping under the stars and see amazing fireworks? Tucked away in the pristine trees and hills of the Appalachian countryside, Glamplyfe is the perfect retreat. After a busy day of exploring the lush trails and private lake, guests will love spending time together in a stunning A-frame unit, ideal for guests to experience an elevated camping, or rather “glamping” experience. The location will offer fireworks on Saturday, July 4, at dusk in celebration of America’s birthday.

Speaking of retreats, lakes and fireworks … Seneca Lake Park, enjoy the outdoors and camp on the shores of Seneca Lake, or rent a cabin with all the comforts of home. Families love the opportunity to hike, fish or swim at the sandy beach (with a new splash pad) in one location! A special fireworks display will take place on Saturday, July 4th at 10 p.m.
