Enjoy fishing at this popular 3,500-acre Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District lake, or relax while sailing, waterskiing or sun bathing at the park’s sandy swimming beach. Seneca Lake Park also offers a secluded retreat for camping, swimming and overnight stays in cabins in this scenic outdoor wonderland. For a quiet vacation at the lake, the park features several two-bedroom cabins available for weekly rentals. More than 500 campsites cover two campgrounds at the park. Planned activities are available for campers and visitors all summer long, while the lake is stocked with a wide variety of game fish. The park also boasts scenic, peaceful picnic areas, including tables, grills and shelters. A full-service marina provides boat and motor sales, service, rentals, boating supplies, bait, tackle and licenses. Hunters also can enjoy several thousand acres of free access surrounding the lake. The lake and park are located on Rt. 313 only a brief drive off I-77 (Exit 37), and only minutes from the intersection of I-77 and I-70 near Cambridge.
