One of the longest-running juried festivals in Ohio, this outdoor event typically takes place the 2nd weekend in August in beautiful Cambridge City Park.
The event is a juried festival that showcases high-quality art in a variety of mediums such as, painting, pottery, ceramics, fiber art, metal work, jewelry, acrylics, mixed media, photography, and more.
Between 90 and 100 artists come from all over the U.S. for this 3-day event. Area students are given the opportunity to display their work, visitors are entertained throughout the weekend by a variety of talented performing artists, concessionaires offer satisfying foods, our Market Place offers foods made in Ohio and there are programs just for kids.
The SFACF is sponsored by the Ohio Arts & Crafts Foundation. The Foundation was created in 1968 to enhance and promote Ohio arts by fostering artistic creativity, expression, and education. Cultural enrichment, historical folk art, the performing arts and other fine arts exhibitions, demonstrations, instructions and performances are the cornerstone of the Foundation’s focus.
The Festival is open to the public with FREE Admission. Shady pathways invite strolling and golf carts provide easy movement throughout the area. There are free musical performances each day, special activities for children (including the handicap accessible playground and a dog park), large tents that feature emerging regional student artists K-12, and many prizes awarded including the popular “People’s Choice” Artist Awards.
