The Official kick off to the ten week holiday celebration in Historic Downtown Cambridge.
Downtown businesses will offer Open Houses, special entertainment. refreshments and food trucks will be offered all day.
9:00am – Giddy Up and Joe will be downtown.
10:00am and 2:00pm Cemetery Tours
1:00pm-Pamela McColl, an author will present “The Champions of Christmas- Washington Irving, Clement C. Moore and Charles Dickens. Free presentation at the Guernsey County Buildings’ meeting Room.
11:00am-3:00pm-Caricatures by Megz in front of Carol Goff’s Real Estate office
2:00pm-Book signing with Pamela McColl at Bookology
3:00-4:00pm-Friendship VII will stroll and sing downtown
3:00-4:00pm-Akron Bagpipe Band will perform in front of the Dickens Welcome Center
2:00-4:30pm-Elizabeth Reeb will stroll in period attire and engage folks in history. Holiday open houses in the shops downtown.
11:00am-6:00pm-Guapos Tacos, Frizzle, Rock Dogs and Kettle Corn will be available. Vendors will be offering their wares on Wheeling Avenue
3:00pm-Run, Run Rudolph 5K Registration . Race at 4:30 Awards at 5:30
3:00-5:30pm-Dickens at the Library Open House. Downtown Library. Crafts, Story time, Scavenger Hunt and more.
4:30-5:30pm-Cambridge Singers perform in front of Black Cat Vintage.
6:30pm-Opening Ceremony with speakers, music and candle lighting
7:00pm– Courthouse Light Show
7:00-8:30pm-Dickens Reception at the Guernsey County Library and FezziWig Ball
5:30-10:00pm-Carriage rides on West 8th Street. Tickets from the driver. $12 per rider.
