Fall Festival at National Road & Zane Grey Museum


NORWICH, OHIO – The National Road & Zane Grey Museum is excited to bring back Fall Festival on Saturday, October 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

There will be pumpkins to pick, a scarecrow craft and slime making. The John Glenn High School Cheerleaders will do face painting and games including corn hole, sack races, parachute and egg-on-spoon relay. Cowboy look-a-likes will be visiting, spinning demonstrations will take place in the museum lobby and there will be bulb planting by the New Concord Garden Club. Musical entertainment will be provided by Anje Phelps and Author Bill Flood who wrote Driving the National Road and Route 40: Then and Now” will be on hand to sign and sell his book. Hot dogs, snacks and drinks will be available by donation for lunch.

The museum is located at 8850 East Pike, Norwich. Regular hours are Wednesday – Saturday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) through October.  Tours will be free all day on Fall Festival Day but donations to support the museum’s educational programming are greatly appreciated.  For more information call 740-826-3305 or visit ohiohistory.org/nationalroad.
