Paul Bunyan Show Oct. 4-6, 2024

One of the nation’s largest and oldest forest industry trade shows, The Official Paul Bunyan Show is set to offer a unique opportunity for families to celebrate Ohio’s forestry background October 4-6, 2024, at the Guernsey County Fairgrounds, located just outside of Cambridge (Old Washington), Ohio.

“For more than 65 years the annual Paul Bunyan Show has entertained families with an array of seminars, demonstrations, competitions and more,” Cambridge/Guernsey County Visitor & Convention Bureau Executive Director Debbie Robinson said. “If you love the outdoors, then you will find something to enjoy watching, learning or buying!”

Established in 1957 and organized by the Ohio Forestry Association, Inc. (OFA), the Official Paul Bunyan Show is believed to be the oldest forestry industry show of its kind in the eastern United States and annually attracts thousands of visitors from Ohio and surrounding states. The event’s primary focus is to provide access to the current knowledge and technology of forestry products and industry which enhances the quality of life and market competitiveness of individuals, families, industries and communities. Husqvarna sponsors the show.

More than 150 exhibitors representing all facets of the forest industry throughout North America, will be on hand for visitors to get to know. Featured booths this year include YouTube personalities Buckin’ Billy Ray Smith and FricknJeep (John Clark).

Smith learned his way around a power saw at an early age. Taught to him by a local logger, his love of the bush and power saws had him bucking and selling firewood, then to falling timber, to appearances on the History Channel’s Ax Men and a successful brand and YouTube channel with nearly half a million subscribers. Meet Smith at Booth #305. From droppin’ trees to splittin’ wood, John Clark is a man who knows his stuff.  He welcomes all show attendees to stop by with questions or just share stories. Either way he’d love to meet you in Booth #100.
