Bookology is proud to host local author Roger Pickenpaugh for a book signing event on Saturday, March 16th from 10am to 2pm.  Roger was a teacher at Shenandoah Middle School in Sarahsville, Ohio, for 30 years before retiring.  His books have focused mainly on outstanding Ohio weather events and the Civil War.  He will have an assortment of books available for purchase including ‘Captives in Blue, The Civil War Prisons and the Confederacy’, ‘America’s First Interstate, The National Road, 1806-1853’, ‘Buckeye Blizzard’, and ‘Camp Chase and the Evolution of the Union Prison Policy’.  Feel free to stop in and say hello and learn more about Roger, his writing process and his yet to be published book, ‘Primary Importance, Kennedy versus Humphrey in West Virginia and Wisconsin, 1960’.
