The Guernsey County Genealogical Society houses county records to aid you in your genealogy journey. Those documents include birth, death
and marriage records, early wills and probate records, tax records and family history books along with cemetery reading books. GCCOGS is privileged to hold docket books from the beginning of our county.  Do you have family roots that go back to 1850 or perhaps prior to 1830? With correct documentation you are eligible to join First or Pioneer Families of Guernsey County. The society hosts a First & Pioneer Family
Banquet for those who can prove their lineage prior to 1830 or 1850.
