Area Information  

    Cambridge / Guernsey County is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in beautiful Southeastern Ohio, about 122 miles South of Cleveland, Ohio; 100 miles Southwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; 50 miles West of Wheeling, West Virginia; and 80 miles East of Columbus, Ohio.

   Interstate Highways 70 (East and West) and 77 (North and South) share five interchanges and one of the nation's largest cloverleafs at Cambridge. U.S. Route 40 (East and West) and 22 (Northeast and Southwest) plus State Route 209 also network the area.

   Sixty-seven Protestant and Four Catholic churches serve Guernsey County.

   Approximately 39,000 people live in Guernsey County and Cambridge's population is about 13,000.
