Richard is East Liberty Presbyterian (Pittsburgh, PA) Church's Minister of Music and Director of the Arts has been on staff for 14 1/2 years.  During this time, many artistic endeavors have occurred, initiating new directions and program possibilities for the congregations' understanding and appreciation for its faith in conjunction with the arts.  Based upon his experiences as a pastor/musician in inner-city congregations, Richard encouraged the ELPC congregation in 1999 to found what today is the Hope Academy of Music and the Arts.  He recently spearheaded the restoration of the Aeolian Skinner Organ in the sanctuary of the East Liberty Presbyterian Church.  Himself a performer and workshop leader, he has more than 1,200 recitals, as well as 17 recordings of hymn-based organ improvisations to his credit.  Dr. Szeremany is a graduate of the Julliard School of Music in New York City and the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.
Tickets are $15.00 per person.  Show begins at 3:00 p.m.

The Lion In Winter is set during Christmas 1183.  Henry wants his son, Prince John, the future King, to inherit his throne. His wife, Queen Eleanor, wants their son, Prince Richard to be the future king.  Meanwhile, King Phillip II of France, the son of Eleanor's ex-husband has given his half-sister Alais, who is currently Henry's mistress, to the future heir, and demands either the wedding or the return of her dowry.
February 26 & 27 and March 5 & 6 at 7:00 p.m.  February 28 and March 7 at 3:00 p.m.  Adults $10, Seniors and Students $8.00 and Under 3 Free.

Winter Safari
the Wilds
The winter is a wonderful time to see and experience the Wilds at work.  Exclusive Winter Safari Tours have been created for adults and children alike to experience the Wilds between the general visitor seasons.  See and learn about rare and endangered animals during the winter months of November through March on these special safari tour programs.
Enjoy a light lunch and a short conservation program presented by an experienced program staff member.
After lunch, visitors board a heated Safari Transport for a guided tour experience through the winter landscape.  View large groups of animals as they roam in the open pasture in their winter coats.
Also take an exclusive tour of the Rhino Management Center and the Mid-Sized Carnivore Conservation Center.
